Total Honda – Mar-Apr 2012 sneak peak

Supercharging is the name of the game in the latest issue of Total Honda magazine (March-April 2012 # 7), as we look at three different ways of introducing forced induction to hot Hondas – namely, a 347bhp ‘Teg DC5, a mean 450bhp S2000 loaded with a wealth of Spoon Sports upgrades and Dixon Motorsports’ sensational track-focused NSX. All three of them are nothing short of sensational.

As is the 1004hp Bisimoto Civic – that’s right, 1004hp. This is an intense build by one of the world’s top tuners, on a car that no one else had yet had the opportunity to modify. And tuning is the name of the game as we talk to three top aftermarket Honda specialists to find out the state of the modifying scene. There’s also a home-built EG Civic with 600+bhp and capable of 10.5s quarters, the latest news on the next generation NSX and the second round of Honda Idol, plus much more besides

Total Impreza – Mar-Apr 2012 sneak peak

The March-April 2012 issue (#27)  of Total Impreza magazine has Lateral Performance’s incredible ‘Banana’ motorsport car as its star. This GC8 STi has been turned into an 850bhp, nitrous-packing missile, but it’s no one-trick pony – while the Banana can run low 9s quarters, it can also wipe the floor with the opposition at Ten Of The Best, Scooby Shootout and the Harewood Hillclimb. We get under the skin of the LP Impreza to find out why it’s such a success.

We’ve also brought you a step-by-step guide to swapping out your turbo for a bigger, twin-scroll billet affair, we’ve talked to the top five Subaru tuners in the country to assess the health of the aftermarket modifying scene, and we’ve got a whole host of stunning Scooby feature cars to whet your appetite. Get hold of the latest edition of Total Impreza magazine now!

Total Nissan – Mar-Apr 2012 sneak peak

The March-April 2012 issue (#24) of Total Nissan magazine is crammed with great feature cars and tech advice. We’ve got a sensational Datsun 260Z that’s been built over the course of eight years and is now a match for modern performance machinery, an S14 treated to the RB25DET from a rear-wheel-drive Skyline and Tim De Vos’s exceptional 650bhp R32 GT-R – inspired by his love of Gran Turismo back when he was just 12. Best of all, he’s built it all himself.

We’ve also talked to the top Nissan tuners in the UK to assess the health of the aftermarket modifying scene and to find out which upgrades are currently the most popular among the Nissan fraternity, we’ve got the latest round of Nissan Idol and there’s useful tech advice in the form of battery charging fault-finding, and stripping weight out of a car for track work. Get your hands on the latest copy of Total Nissan as soon as you can!

Honda Issue 6 – Jan-Feb 2012, what have we got for you this issue?

Well, there’s our sensational cover star, Brian Chan’s brutal Integra DC5. With a full high-compression build and mean looks, we’re sure you’ll agree it’s one of the most extreme ‘Tegs you can get, short of an ex-BTCC racer.
Talking of the BTCC, in terms of motorsport we’ve got the story on Honda Racing Team’s clean sweep in the 2011 series; our congratulations go to champion Matt Neal and team-mate ‘Flash’ Gordon Shedden for a sensational season. Among other tales from Hondas on track, there’s a round-up of the 2011 Buddy Club Civic Cup and VTEC Challenge.
And this month sees the start of Honda Idol, where some of the best cars on the scene go head-to-head in a bid to win your votes and be crowned Total Honda’s Idol Champion for 2012.

Total Impreza – Jan-Feb 2012 sneak peak

On Sale : 22nd December

Total Impreza Issue 26 – Jan-Feb 2012, what have we got for you this issue?

Our cover feature this month is Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni’s BDC Impreza. An iconic car with impeccable motorsport credentials and is one of the most recognisable Imprezas going, you’d think it was the last car in the world that would be targeted by tea leaves… but you’d be wrong. Luckily, the car was safely reunited with its owner, and continues to perform at the top level of drifting today.
We’ve also got an unusual story on a WRX Wagon build, in which two brothers told Slowboy Racing to upgrade their Scooby with a 2.1-stroker kit… and then did the turbo… and then looked at the suspension… and so on and so on, until nearly a year later their 280bhp automatic estate has morphed into a 500bhp, straight-cut ‘box-toting fast road monster. Superb stuff.
Elsewhere, we’ve got plenty of hot news from the Subaru scene, UK Scoobies members hit the rollers and there’s an Impreza that made it onto the big screen, after its owner answered an unusual request online…
And this month sees the start of Impreza Idol, where some of the best cars on the scene go head-to-head in a bid to win your votes and be crowned Total Impreza’s Idol Champion for 2012.

Total Nissan Issue 23 – Jan-Feb 2012, what have we got for you this issue?

Our cover car is a statement of intent from a new European tuning concern, known as Full Car Tuning. A one stop shop selling thousands upon thousands of upgrade parts for all manner of motors, its latest demo car is a super-cool 350Z with a hypercar-quality paintjob and some tasteful styling mods – the next step is probably to turbo it, but even now it’s a special piece of kit.

While the K11 Micra might not be everyone’s first choice when it comes to modding a Nissan, you’ve got to admire Chris Baker’s work. Styled just to his tastes, it’s a fantastic way for a young enthusiast to get the wheels he wants without being stung by an insurance company for a more powerful motor. It’s even a five-door model, so all kudos to him in the individuality stakes.

As well as all our regular features, products and news, this month is the start of Nissan Idol, where some of the best cars on the scene go head-to-head in a bid to win your votes and be crowned Total Nissan’s Idol Champion for 2012.
